Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Clarity Optical Group Ltd. By booking an appointment or using our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Our Services

We provide domiciliary eye care services, including home eye examinations, eye health assessments, spectacle dispensing, and related aftercare services.

Appointments are carried out in private homes, care homes, assisted living settings, and other appropriate residential environments.

Appointments & Availability

All appointments are subject to availability.

While we always aim to attend appointments at the arranged time, delays may occasionally occur due to travel, clinical requirements, weather conditions, or unforeseen circumstances.

If we need to rearrange an appointment, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

NHS Eligibility

NHS-funded domiciliary eye examinations are only available to patients who meet the relevant NHS eligibility criteria.

Eligibility is assessed according to current NHS regulations and guidance. Patients may be asked to provide information relating to mobility, medical conditions, or benefit entitlement where appropriate.

Private Services & Payments

Private eye examinations, glasses, and additional optical products or services may incur charges.

Any applicable fees will be discussed before services or orders are confirmed.

Prescription Glasses

Prescription spectacles and lenses are made or supplied to meet the individual patient's requirements. Cancellation rights may therefore be limited once an order has been placed or production has begun. This does not affect your statutory rights, including where goods are faulty, not as described, or otherwise do not meet applicable legal requirements.

Patients should contact us promptly if they experience any concerns relating to their vision, comfort or the fit of their spectacles following dispensing.

Aftercare & Adjustments

We provide appropriate aftercare following dispensing, including spectacle adjustments and minor repairs where appropriate.

Clinical Information

Patients, relatives, carers or care home staff should provide accurate and relevant information regarding medical history, medications, current spectacles and eye health where reasonably possible. Incomplete or inaccurate information may affect our ability to provide appropriate clinical care.

Emergency Eye Problems

Clarity Optical Group Ltd is not an emergency eye care service. If you experience sudden loss of vision, severe eye pain, new flashes or floaters, significant eye injury, or other symptoms that may require urgent attention, you should seek appropriate urgent medical or eye care. This may include contacting NHS 111 or an appropriate local urgent or emergency eye care service. In a medical emergency, call 999.

Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us so that we can investigate your concerns. Further information about our complaints procedure is available on our website or on request.

The information provided on this website is intended for general guidance only and does not replace professional medical advice or examination.

Limitation of Liability

We aim to provide all services with reasonable care, skill, and professional standards in accordance with UK optical regulations.

Nothing within these Terms & Conditions limits liability where such limitation would be unlawful under applicable UK law.
